Dickerson is in line to open the upcoming season as the Rockies' regular left fielder, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports. When injuries to Carlos Gonzalez and Michael Cuddyer opened up a regular lineup spot last season, Dickerson took full advantage, batting .312/.364/.567 with 24 homers, 76 RBI, and eight stolen bases across 478 plate appearances. The allure of a full-time role in 2015 has Dickerson holding down a high spot on fantasy draft boards, but there's still a chance he or Charlie Blackmon could fall into a platoon with Drew Stubbs, given both outfielders' unimpressive career numbers against lefty pitching. That being said, any at-bats Dickerson may lose against lefty pitching or struggles he may have when used in such scenarios should be mostly negated by playing half his games at Coors Field, which will likely enable him to uphold a lofty batting average once again.
