Northcraft was traded to the Padres on Friday, Corey Brock of the Padres' official site reports. Northcraft split 2014 between Double-A and Triple-A, finishing the season with a 4.70 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with 113 strikeouts in 130.1 innings between the two teams. He will head to the Padres along with Justin Upton in exchange for Max Fried, Dustin Peterson and Jace Peterson.
