The Royals declined to tender Bueno a contract, Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star reports. Bueno simply wasn't worth keeping for the Royals, who have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to bullpen arms, even at his pre-arb price. The 33-year-old lefty posted a 4.18 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 20:7 K:BB in 32.1 innings with the big club in 2014.
