Napoli isn't expected to need surgery on either his toe or finger but he may receive aid for his sleep apnea, Sean McAdam of CSN New England reports. Napoli was shut down for the season Thursday due to lingering issues but it appears he will elect to rest and let them heal. The veteran is under contract through the 2015 season with the Red Sox, and will likely continue as the first baseman following a season where he failed to reach 20 home runs for the first time since 2007.
