Lyles' (7-4) final start of the season was a dud, as he surrendered five runs on eight hits over 5.1 innings to take the loss Friday against the Dodgers. Lyles did well to limit the Dodgers to one run over his first five frames, but he imploded in the sixth inning, giving up four consecutive base hits to squander a 3-2 lead. Despite the late meltdown, Lyles finishes the campaign with a palatable 4.33 ERA and 1.36 WHIP over 126.2 innings, numbers that should lock him into a rotation spot in 2015.
