Maybin was scratched from Thursday's lineup due to a "minor health condition," Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Maybin expects to be OK long-term, but he'll take a seat just to be safe on Thursday. The new Padres outfield will be composed of Tommy Medica, Will Venable and Seth Smith.
