Gardner went 2-for-5 with a homer and a double in Sunday's victory over Toronto. Gardner has logged four hits over his last two games, breaking a cold spell which had seen him go 0-for-22 with eight strikeouts. Gardner's batting average was at .286 on Aug. 4, but it's plummeted all the way down to .259. Still, the outfielder has already recorded career highs in home runs (16) and RBI (57), while chipping in 20 stolen bases this season.
