Lyles (6-3) was handed the loss Sunday against the Cardinals, after giving up three runs on nine hits and two walks over six frames. Lyles turned in a quality effort, but it wasn't enough for the Rockies to avoid the sweep, especially with lefty Marco Gonzales quieting the Colorado bats. Though the Rockies figure to address their rotation in the offseason, Lyles looks to be on fairly sturdy ground for a starting role in 2015. He owns a palatable 4.21 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 115.1 innings.
