Reynolds (elbow) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Friday, Jack Magruder of Fox Sports Arizona reports. Reynolds threw off a mound for the second time since he had Tommy John surgery last September. His next step will apparently be pitching in the instructional league Wednesday for his first rehab appearance. If he pitches well and has no ill effects, a couple of outings in the league may be all he needs before rejoining the Diamondbacks.
