Holland (triceps) would not have pitched in a save situation Monday, Jon Morosi of FOX Sports 1 reports. The Royals fell 9-5 to the Tigers on Monday afternoon anyway, so Holland owners fortunately didn't miss out on a potential save opportunity. Manager Ned Yost says that he'll be available once again Tuesday, so it doesn't appear that the closer has suffered any type of major setback. If the Royals continue to play it conservatively with Holland down the stretch, look for Wade Davis to see the majority of save situations left open, with Kelvin Herrera representing another potential candidate.
