Phelps (elbow) will pitch a simulated game Sunday, the NY Post reports. Phelps threw another bullpen session Friday, so it's an encouraging sign that he's moving on to pitching a simulated game. He'll throw around 35 pitches, after feeling good throwing that amount Friday. Phelps is hopeful he can return in about a week, though the team has yet to give their timetable.
