Street allowed two hits and struck out a batter to record his 36th save of the season Thursday against the Twins. Street may have been showing some rust after not being on the mound since Aug. 30, as he allowed the first two batters to reach in the frame before retiring the next three to nail down the save. Street has been a force at the backend of the bullpen since being acquired by the Padres, as he now owns a 0.95 earned-run average with 12 saves as a member of the Halos.
