Holland was fantastic Tuesday, giving up just one run on six hits and zero walks with six strikeouts in seven innings against the Royals. Sadly, Jeremy Guthrie pitched him to a draw over seven innings, so Holland took a no-decision in his first start with the Rangers this season after missing most of the season recovering from knee surgery. The Rangers had no reason to rush Holland back as their season was lost a long time ago, but he was clearly ready for the challenge, and could finish out the year strong and help fantasy owners down the stretch. He pitches next on Sunday at home against the Mariners.
