Johnson was traded to the Orioles on Saturday, The Baltimore Sun reports. Johnson was part of a trade that also sent minor league pitcher Michael Almanzar to the Orioles in exchange for Jemile Weeks and Ivan DeJesus Jr. He will presumably take over third base for the Orioles, who recently lost Manny Machado for the season, allowing Chris Davis to move back to first base or DH. Johnson is batting .160 with just one RBI in 25 at-bats in August for the Red Sox.
