Hernandez gave up a season-high five earned runs on a career-high four home runs Friday, allowing 10 hits and one walk with one strikeout in seven innings in a loss to the Nationals. Hernandez was up in the zone all night, and the Nationals made him pay. It was the third consecutive start in which he has not been his usual dominant self. He has allowed 10 runs in those three starts -- as many as he allowed in his previous nine starts. He had allowed just nine home runs in 27 starts before Friday's quadruple-bomb night.
