Ellsbury hurt his left ankle in Friday's game while sliding into home during the ninth inning. He underwent further tests after the game, and the results came back negative, Mark Feinsand of the NY Daily News reports. Ellsbury should be considered day-to-day, but he was spotted with his ankle wrapped following the test and sporting a noticeable limp. The tests Friday night were performed with a fluoroscope, so it's unclear if the Yankees will want Ellsbury to undergo any further tests.
