Perez (knee) is in the lineup Friday against the Rangers, Fox Sports Kansas City's Joel Goldberg reports. He was scratched from Wednesday's game with knee discomfort, but an MRI came back negative on the knee, and he will waste no time getting back behind the dish for the Royals. Perez has had a very productive year, based primarily on the fact that he's been able to play in 115 games. He is hitting .268 with 15 home runs, 50 runs and 54 RBI.
