Peavy (3-12) picked up his third win of the season Wednesday against the Cubs, allowing two runs while scattering 10 hits and striking out eight in seven innings. Peavy earned back-to-back wins for the first time this season. The 33-year-old has been pretty sold for the Giants, giving them quality starts in three out of five turns with a 3.63 ERA. Peavy faces the Rockies at home on Monday.
