Vikings CB Antoine Winfield will undergo surgery Wednesday to repair his fractured clavicle. He will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season. With Chris Cook remaining away from team activities indefinitely, the Vikings' 30th-ranked secondary will be a dream matchup going forward. Though Winfield is an injury-prone player turning 35 in the offseason, he remains highly effective in nickel and dime packages. He's scheduled to earn $7 million in 2012.
