According to CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco, sixth-rounder Ronald Johnson is "perhaps the most-impressive looking of the wideouts" early in camp. Similar to Steve Smith coming out of USC, Johnson uses his initial quickness to gain separation in the slot. He's more slightly built, though, with a checkered injury history. Johnson will battle Ted Ginn for the No. 3 receiver role. He's a longshot for fantasy relevance in redraft leagues.
