Matt Cassel (rib) practiced fully again on Friday and is listed as probable for Week 1.
Cassel's cracked rib could affect his performance against the Bills, but it won't prevent him from playing. He's our 25th-ranked quarterback this week.
Top 16? I am not so sure about that. The Bills give up like 180 yards on the ground, that's more than any other team. Last year the Chiefs ran more than any other team. I like Cassel, but this week with a sore rib and one of the worse running D's in the league, I would not throw more than I have too, which might not be too much this week. By the end of the year Cassel should be a top 15 QB, but this week nope.
3 td's in Sept maybe. No real number 2 WR no Moeaki and probably the best backfield duo in the NFL right now. Last year they ran for 254 yards and they will do it again this year. But I hope you are right and I am wrong, because I have Cassel as my backup and I have an option to start a QB at a flex spot. The only reason why he has a shot at top 16 this week is because of all the new QB's starting this week, but I doubt because it will be a result of his performance. Its not going to be bad just not great.
