Texans promoted OLB Jesse Nading from the practice squad. Converting from base, 4-3 end to 3-4 outside linebacker, Nading showed well in the preseason with nine tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. With Mario Williams landing on injured reserve, Nading will be the Texans' No. 4 outside 'backer behind Connor Barwin, and rookies Brooks Reed and Bryan Braman.
