CSN Bay Area reports that Braylon Edwards' knee surgery was done to repair a torn meniscus, and Edwards will be out "several weeks." The surgery was performed on Edwards' right knee. Josh Morgan, Michael Crabtree, Ted Ginn Jr., and Kyle Williams will be the Niners' top three wide receivers going forward. Edwards' extended absence could mean more pass targets for Vernon Davis, who's the best option in San Francisco's passing game. In terms of play time, Crabtree and Ginn should get the biggest lifts.
