Scout.com's Aaron Wilson reports that the Dolphins decided to suspend CB Vontae Davis on Saturday for violating team policy. Davis wouldn't have played due to a hamstring injury, but showing up late to a practice last week, hungover, was the dagger. It's unclear how long Davis' team-imposed suspension will last, but the Dolphins may not want him in their locker room for the foreseeable future. The Fins will move forward with Sean Smith, rookie Jimmy Wilson, Will Allen, and Nolan Carroll at cornerback.
