Coach Todd Haley confirmed that Dexter McCluster will exclusively be used at running back this season. McCluster is not going to be a slot receiver. He'll be a return specialist and get a few gadget plays per game, but he won't eat into the reps of Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones. At 5'8/170, McCluster can't protect the quarterback on passing plays.
