Colts signed QB Dan Orlovsky, formerly of the Texans. We had the report of this transaction on Saturday, but never made it official. Orlovsky, who turns 28 in two weeks, is 0-7 in seven career starts with a 55.1 completion rate and 8:8 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He's a competitor, but lacks even No. 2-caliber quarterback talent. Orlovsky will compete with Curtis Painter to be Peyton Manning's clipboard holder.
