Jackie Battle managed just 40 yards on 14 carries and caught a nine-yard pass in the Chiefs' Week 9 loss to Miami. Falling behind early is always going to be a bad situation for an early-down running back like Battle. The holes weren't there for Kansas City's power runner in the first two frames, and the Chiefs were forced to resort to the pass after falling behind big in the second half. Battle's talent continues to underwhelm, but he's got at least 15 touches in four straight games. He'll have a more favorable situation against the Broncos in Week 10.
