The Bills plan to work out a long-term contract for impending free agent RT Erik Pears. Like many on the upstart Bills, Pears is an undrafted free agent journeyman turned solid starter. After bulking up his 6'8" frame, Pears has been called a "stud" by center Eric Wood and the dictionary definition of "stability" by coach Chan Gailey.
