Tony Gonzalez missed Falcons practice with a back injury Wednesday. It was just a day of rest. "We anticipate that he'll be out on the field tomorrow for practice," said coach Mike Smith. Gonzalez is the No. 3 overall fantasy tight end. He's very likely to start against the Colts in Week 9.

Gonzalez returned to practice today. So he is definately a starter

Im keeping this chump on my team tho, an I am holding U guys partially responsible for that decision, however, he is benched for sure

Seriously. Hes the number 3 TE, and you thought of dropping him? are you nuts? Hes been consistent all season. He's Matt Ryan's favorite Red Zone target, and theyre going up against a lousy Colts D. Only reason not to play him is if he's definitely not playing

BIGJ1003 Thu 11/3/11 8:49 AM

Would you start him or Fred Davis this week?

iamkoch Thu 11/3/11 12:45 PM

If Gonzalas is healthy i'd start him. Colts def = really bad, 49ers def = really good

That is what I figured but I know that Fred David is now the # 1 receiver in Washington.

Aye, but gonzalez is Ryan's security blanket and his Red zone guy. HE should have plenty of chances for TD this week, if not two, plus Washington is just terrible.

Sounds very logical. Thanks

I had a couple windows open. I was referring to K.Moreno... hahaha Gonzo is a must start

BIGJ1003 Thu 11/3/11 4:37 PM

Thanks for the input.....

Well Very Freakin Likely Aint Exactly 100 percent is it NOW ???? hahahahah oh helllll yeahhhhhhh

Tim_Stephenson Thu 11/3/11 11:45 AM

Well unless you have Jimmy Graham or Rob Gronkowski as well, you're foolish not to start him versus the Colts.

Drop him? haha , yeah... okay.
