Appearing on NFL Network's Around the League Live, Jason LaCanfora suggested Mike Tolbert (hamstring) will resume starting and "get a lot of carries" this week against the Packers. While Ryan Mathews' (groin) status is "up in the air for right now," the Chargers "feel good" about Tolbert being able to play this week. Tolbert will have to pass tests on Wednesday, but it sounds like he's being counted on as the primary runner for Week 9.
