Victor Cruz worked as the Giants' No. 3 receiver in their second preseason game Monday night. Cruz caught three balls for 40 yards, including an acrobatic 21-yarder in the first quarter. He also made a downfield tackle on special teams, although OC Kevin Gilbride could be seen chewing Cruz out at one point on the sideline. The Giants' third receiver battle is ongoing. Cruz competitor Domenik Hixon had two catches for 13 yards, including an eight-yard touchdown.
