Andre Roberts is listed as the starting Z receiver on the Cardinals' initial preseason depth chart. Teams will update depth charts throughout the preseason based on performance in practice and exhibition games. The Cards are sniffing around Lee Evans, but Roberts is currently the favorite to succeed Steve Breaston at flanker. Early Doucet could play the slot in that scenario. Roberts would see constant single teams playing across from Larry Fitzgerald, so he's a deep sleeper. He tore the lid off the Cowboys' secondary late last season, catching five balls for 110 yards and a touchdown in Arizona's 27-26 Week 16 win. Roberts collected 20 targets in the final two games.
