The Atlanta Journal-Constitution revealed Michael Turner underwent groin surgery this offseason. If Turner was playing through a groin injury late last season, it would go a long way toward explaining his 3.58 YPC and evident loss of burst against a soft schedule in the final five weeks. Turner has recovered from the surgery, but we'll be monitoring him closely in training camp.
