The Browns have already ruled Peyton Hillis (hamstring) out for Week 11.
It's the second straight Monday Hillis has been ruled out, which suggests he's nowhere near a return. Coach Pat Shurmur would only allow at his press conference that he "thinks" Hillis will play again this season. This will be the fifth consecutive game Hillis has missed, and sixth of the year. Backup Montario Hardesty (calf) has yet to be ruled out, but didn't sound close when Shurmur spoke last Wednesday. For now, consider Chris Ogbonnaya likely to make his third straight start.

He must know he will receive the franchise tag and therefore doesnt really need to play for a big contract

Yeah, He's a keeper of mine, but I'm thinking of dropping him too, as much as I hate to.
