Coach Leslie Frazier reiterated that he expects Christian Ponder to start the rest of the season. Even if Ponder struggles, the Vikings are going to ride it out with their rookie. Frazier said that Donovan McNabb has accepted the backup role and plans on mentoring Ponder like Doug Pederson once did for him in Philadelphia. Ponder's mobility and accuracy will be a welcome sight for the entire Vikings' offense.
