Julius Peppers (knee) was a surprise participant in Sunday's Week 6 win over the Vikings, and ended up having his best game of the year with a tackle and two sacks. He was visibly hobbled, but he and his teammates had the Vikings' numbers from the jump. Lovie Smith kept him in the game until the closing minutes, despite a 26-point lead that was maintained from midway through the third quarter until the final whistle. Whether or not that was a wise move remains to be seen, but we're hoping that it's an indication that the injury isn't serious.
