Parise (concussion) is expected to play Sunday against the Jets. Parise was activated earlier on Sunday, and now has been confirmed to play for the first time since he suffered the concussion Nov. 4. He is expected to rejoin Mikko Koivu and Jason Pominville on the first line.

Parise (concussion) was activated from injured reserve Sunday. Parise's activation likely indicates he is ready to return to the ice, though that hasn't been confirmed yet. He suffered the concussion Nov. 4 against the Penguins, and has been sidelined since. The Wild placed Jonas Brodin on injured reserve Sunday in a corresponding move.

Coach Mike Yeo said Parise (concussion) is "progressing well" and could return to the lineup Sunday against the Jets, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Parise won't travel with the team to Dallas for Saturday's game against the Stars, but it appears he's cleared nearly all the hurdles of the league's mandatory concussion protocol. The Wild captain has been skating daily and doesn't seem to be experiencing any dizziness or other concussion-like symptoms, potentially putting him on track to play Sunday if he's able to get in a good skate the morning of the game.

Parise (concussion) will not play in Saturday's game against the Stars, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. There was a chance Parise could return Saturday, but he was ruled out after sitting out Friday's practice. While Parise will miss at least one more game to his concussion, he could play Sunday against the Jets.

Parise missed his fourth consecutive game Thursday with a concussion, but is skating daily. "He's getting close, but we just have to make sure we're following protocol," head coach Mike Yeo told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "We desperately want him back in the lineup, but we have to make sure when he comes back he's staying in the lineup." Parise was moved to injured reserve Thursday, but that was a move to create roster space rather than an outlook on his injury. It sounds like he could return this weekend or early next week.

Parise (concussion) was moved to injured reserve Thursday. Parise's move to injured reserve allowed the Wild to call up an extra defenseman to cover for the absences of Marco Scandella and Jonas Brodin, both of whom are dealing with an illness and are unavailable to play Thursday against the Sabres. It would seem that Parise will also sit for the fourth straight game after being considered doubtful heading into the team's morning skate, but because he's already been out for the minimum seven days, he can be activated from IR at any point. Parise is expected to practice fully Friday, after which the Wild could formally activate him in advance of Saturday's game against the Stars.

Parise (concussion) is considered doubtful to play Thursday against the Sabres, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Parise was able to practice during Wednesday's optional session, but based on his doubtful designation, it seems likely that the Wild want him to get in another full practice before he suits up for a game. Coach Mike Yeo could change his tune on the matter if Parise looks good during Thursday's morning skate and passes all concussion tests, but Saturday's game against the Stars looks to be a more realistic target for the forward's return.

Coach Mike Yeo said that Parise (concussion) could be back in the lineup Thursday against the Sabres, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Despite being ruled out from playing in his homecoming to New Jersey on Tuesday, Parise still traveled with the team so he could get in a hard skate during their morning session. After coming through the exercise without any apparent issues, he'll attempt to practice Wednesday in Minnesota. If all goes well, team doctors could sign off on Parise's return to the lineup after a three-game absence.

Parise (concussion) will travel with the team to New Jersey, but won't play. It's certainly a good sign that Parise is travelling with the team, since it probably means the team wants him to practice to get his conditioning back. There's no word on when he'll return to the lineup, but it seems more like a day-to-day discussion at this point than a week-to-week one.

Parise has been diagnosed with a concussion, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. The news doesn't necessarily change Parise's recovery timeline, as the Wild had previously ruled him out for the entirety of their three-game road trip that kicks off Thursday. He'll be evaluated by team doctors over the coming days in attempt to ascertain how much progress he's making, but the unpredictably nature of head injuries makes it difficult to project an expected return date for the forward. While Parise remains out, Thomas Vanek is expected to get the first crack at filling in for him on the top line next to Mikael Granlund and Jason Pominville.
