Seguin had surgery to repair a torn labrum Monday, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

EDGE Analysis

Seguin is expected to be ready in time for the 2017-18 season, so fantasy owners shouldn't have to worry about his availability. The Ontario native played in all 82 games this year on his way to a fourth straight 70-plus point campaign. If Dallas hopes to get back to being a contender in the playoffs, it will need the 25-year-old to continue to be at his peak.

Seguin netted his 26th goal of the season, added an assist and score the lone shootout marker Saturday against Colorado.

EDGE Analysis

Seguin has put up 70-plus points in four consecutive seasons and has become one of the most reliable fantasy forwards in the game. The 25-year-old won't be competing in the playoffs, but he closed out the regular season with a clutch effort and will be a top pick once again in fantasy drafts net year.

Seguin tallied the game-winning goal on the power play in a 2-1 overtime victory against the Devils on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

The 25-year-old was heating up at the end of February and beginning of March, but he has since cooled off, scoring just one point in six contests. The good news, though, is Seguin had a goal and an assist in the last two games. Perhaps he can get it going again to salvage the season. Seguin is on track to post his fewest goals and lowest points per game average since the 2013 lockout season. He also has a career-worst minus-13 rating.

Seguin assisted on both goals in Saturday's 2-1 win over Panthers.

EDGE Analysis

Seguin has been putting together an incredible late-season surge. He has had multi-point nights in six of the last nine games for a total of two goals and 12 assists.

Seguin set up two goals -- including one on the power play -- in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Islanders. Unfortunately, he skated to a minus-3 rating.

EDGE Analysis

Seguin has been wildly inconsistent, alternating multi-point with goose eggs over the last seven games. However, he's still putting up plenty of shots with 30 of those in that same span. Keep an eye on Seguin's compete level with the Stars eliminated from the playoffs; his production could remain spotty with the team's playoff hopes diminished.

Seguin registered a goal, assist, two hits, and a team-leading seven shots in Sunday's loss to the Bruins.

EDGE Analysis

Despite having lines shaken up, spreading out their top talent, Seguin continues to produce consistently. He has four multipoint games over his last six games for a total of two goals and eight assists.

Seguin posted three assists with a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win against the Lightning.

EDGE Analysis

Seguin had a helping hand in all three of linemate Antoine Roussel's goals. He has been on fire since the holidays, posting 11 goals with 26 points over the past 25 games. The veteran has just one two-game scoreless stretch dating back to Dec. 11, so he remains a top-notch DFS play since more often than not he finds his way onto the scoresheet.

Seguin contributed an assist and a power-play goal in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Winnipeg.

EDGE Analysis

Seguin tied last season's total of 24 power-play points, and is just five shy of his 2014-15 career high. The 25-year-old center is on pace to top 70 points for the fourth consecutive season, but has just two game-winning goals for a team that has won only 22 of 58 games after coming in with high expectations.

Seguin picked up three helpers but was also minus-3 in a 5-3 defeat against the Predators on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

All three of Seguin's points came on the power play. At even strength, Nashville badly outplayed Dallas and came back to win despite the Stars holding a three-goal lead inside of five minutes left in the second period. Seguin now has 20 goals and 54 points in 57 games, but his minus-18 rating is absolutely killing fantasy owners. He's never been worse than minus-4 in any of his previous six seasons.

Seguin's unassisted goal near the end of the second period was the eventual game-winning goal in Thursday's 4-3 win against Buffalo.

EDGE Analysis

Seguin has not missed a single game for the Stars this season and now has 47 points in 50 games. Those numbers are solid given how disappointing Dallas has been this year, and his minus-14 rating is reflective of the team's unreliable defense and goaltending. If the Stars continue to get hemmed in their own zone and allow soft goals, it takes away the offense's ability to generate offense. Seguin is averaging fewer shots per game this year (3.54) compared to last year (3.86), but remains an elite fantasy player and forms one of the league's best duos with Jamie Benn.
