Myers delivered a power-play goal and an assist Friday, culminating in a 7-4 home win over the Golden Knights.
If the Texan keeps up this half-point-per-game pace, he should be able to establish a new career high. Myers dropped 48 points (11 goals, 37 assists) and a plus-13 rating on the way to clinching the Calder Trophy for top rookie in 2009-10, but that's been his best season to date. A lower-body injury limited the mobile rearguard to 11 games last season, but he looks spry and more focused on the attacking zone this year. Take full advantage.

Myers recorded two assists and three shots during Friday's 4-1 win over Anaheim.
After playing just 11 games last season, Myers recorded a single goal through the first nine games this year. Since, he's collected two goals and eight assists over the past 13 games. The improved offensive numbers have the 27-year-old defenseman back on the fantasy radar, and he's a potential grab in most settings. Additionally, it's also worth noting that Winnipeg has won its way into the Presidents' Trophy race, and owning players on high-scoring teams that win never hurts.

Myers delivered his fourth assist of the season Tuesday night in a 4-1 home win over the Coyotes.
We wouldn't get too excited about this performance from Myers since the hapless Coyotes have yet to win a regulation game this season, but the American rearguard has now surpassed his five points from an injury-riddled 2016-17 campaign. He also boasts an impressive plus-7 rating while picking up consistent ice time with the man advantage, so consider deploying him in deep leagues.

Myers registered an even-strength assist in Sunday's 7-1 home defeat over the Penguins.
This was just the second point of the season for Myers, who continues to be relied upon more for his own-zone production. For example, he's logged multiple blocked shot totals in half of his games played thus far, and his plus-7 rating is currently the best of any Jets player.

Myers scored a shorthanded goal and skated to a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Canucks.
Myers' first goal of the season late in the second period ended up being the game-winner. The 2008 first-rounder has never been able to recapture the offensive magic of his 48-point rookie campaign, but he's turned into a dependable player in his own zone and already sports a plus-6 rating.

Myers is eager for the upcoming season having been limited to 11 games in 2016-17 due to a lower-body injury, the Kelowna Daily Courier reports.
A tank on the ice at 6-foot-8, 229 pounds, Myers projects to line up as a second-pairing right defenseman with newcomer Dmitry Kulikov to start the new season. The former isn't all that physical for his size, but he has an accurate shot, decent vision, and the ability to log serious playing time at even strength and on the man advantage. He produced two goals, three assists and a plus-5 rating over 11 games of the injury-plagued 2016-17 campaign. Myers is worth a flier in deep leagues, so draft accordingly.

Myers (lower body) managed to suit up for just 11 of the Jets' games this season.
Myers seemed to be off to a hot start by registering two goals and three helpers to start the year, but ultimately was unable to ever get back into the lineup. Injury aside, the biggest question facing the Houston native this offseason is whether the Jets' will protect him against being selected in the expansion draft -- a situation made even more complicated thanks to Toby Enstrom's no-movement clause. If the 27-year-old is still with Winnipeg at the start of the 2017-18 campaign, he figures to contribute in all three phases of the game and eat up huge minutes on the blue line.

Myers (lower body) will not play in Saturday's regular-season finale against the Predators.
That officially puts a wrap on the 2016-17 season for the first-rounder from the 2008 draft. He'd been approaching a day-to-day designation by traveling with the team earlier in the week, but evidently -- and understandably -- the Jets don't want to risk complications from his surgical procedure with the team out of the playoff race. Myers finishes with five points (two goals, three assists) and a plus-5 rating through 11 games.

Myers (lower body) is with the team for their two-game road trip, Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
While Myers presence on this road trip is encouraging, coach Paul Maurice was unwilling to commit to a specific timeline for the blueliner to suit up. With the postseason no longer an option, the Jets have no reason to rush the 27-year-old back into the lineup. The bigger decision on Myers will likely come in June when Winnipeg will have to decide how it wants to handle protecting players for the expansion draft.

Myers (lower body) remains on track to return prior to the end of the season, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
The original timeline for Myers return was 6-to-8 weeks, which the short end would put him at March 21 against the Flyers. With the 27-year-old sidelined -- along with Toby Enstrom (lower body) -- Ben Chariot has been pressed into a second pairing role and is averaging 21:29 of ice time per night. Once cleared, Myers will almost certainly slot back into the Jets' power play where he has logged 1:42 of ice time per night, albeit in a limited 11 appearances.
