Rask allowed four goals on 27 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Ducks on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Rask's struggles to start the season continue. He's now allowed at least three goals in his last five starts, and in six of his last seven contests. While at times Rask has been one of the best goalies in the NHL, right now he's just trying to keep his save percentage above .900.

Rask will patrol the blue paint for Wednesday's tilt against Anaheim, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.

EDGE Analysis

Rask is off to a less than stellar -- awful, frankly -- start to the 2017-18 campaign, as he is 3-6-2 with a .901 save percentage. In fact, in all but one of the Finn's previous six outings, he has given up a trio of goals. Opposing goaltender John Gibson has had struggles of his own this year, making this an interesting matchup between the pipes.

Rask made 21 saves in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs. He allowed three goals.

EDGE Analysis

Rask's numbers are queasy at best this season. His .901 save percentage would be Mendoza-like if he played on a diamond and his 2.79 GAA is creeping up. Rask delivered a 2-6-2 record in his last 10. Sadly, that's bench-worthy.

Rask will tend twine against the visiting Maple Leafs on Saturday, NHL.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Despite playing without 2017 Calder Trophy winner Auston Matthews (upper body) for the last two games, the Maple Leafs have managed to stay on the winning path without him. However, Rask has performed quite well against the Buds over the course of his career, having gone 15-5-2 with a skinny 2.07 GAA and .927 saver percentage. He makes for a decent fantasy play between the 10 games that remain on Saturday's slate.

Rask turned aside 30 of 33 shots in a 4-2 loss to the New York Rangers.

EDGE Analysis

Relying on the offense caught up to Rask, as New York was able to take advantage of mistakes and prevent the Bruins from overcoming the deficit. He's not himself as of late and doesn't have much time to solve that when the Bruins tangle with the Maple Leafs twice in two days.

Rask will patrol the goal for Wednesday's road contest against the Rangers.

EDGE Analysis

Rask has managed to pull two wins out of his last three starts despite some less than stellar performances -- the Finn has allowed three goals in each of the last two games despite facing exactly 27 shots in each. The span represents a microcosm of Rask's season, as his defense has not allowed more than 32 shots on goal in any single game that the goalie has started this season. He'll have to get it together against a New York squad that has scored five goals or more in three of its last four contests.

Rask kicked aside 24 of 27 Wild shots as his team defeated Minnesota on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

Rask's win looks good on paper, but his numbers tell a different story. His save percentage came in under .900, a stat that needs to change quickly for Rask to produce the way his owners expect. As nice as a win might be, they won't mean much to fantasy owners if his save percentage is around 88 percent.

Rask will tend the twine for Monday's contest with Minnesota.

EDGE Analysis

The Finnish netminder will now be making his fifth consecutive start since a three-game layoff due to a concussion. Since making his return, Rask is 1-1-2 with a 2.17 GAA and .924 save percentage for an injury struck Bruins team, who added Brad Marchand (upper body) to the list of absentees prior to Monday's game. While Rask has been playing well of late, the current state of Boston's roster may not be enough of a foundation to sustain Rask's success.

Rask turned aside 24 of 27 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Capitals.

EDGE Analysis

The Finnish netminder is being relied upon more heavily with key players like David Krejci (back), David Backes (illness), and Adam McQuaid (leg) on the shelf, but could not backstop Boston to a win. His 2.65 GAA and .907 save percentage are certainly not what fantasy owners have been accustomed to over the last few seasons, but Rask gets a heavy workload and should improve those totals, so keep rolling with him.

Rask will start Saturday's game against the Capitals.

EDGE Analysis

Rask, who stopped 28 of 29 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over Vegas, will look to build off that solid performance Saturday against a Washington team that has been up-and-down of late, en route to compiling a 6-6-1 record overall. While the defensive effort in front of Rask on Thursday was encouraging, the Bruins continue to battle through injuries up front, notably to David Backes, David Krejci and Ryan Spooner, a situation that has forced the team to mix and match at the center position.
