Carter potted the game-winning goal and added in four PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Flames.

EDGE Analysis

Carter has been rolling in his last few games, racking up six goals and three assists in his last six outings. With him launching the puck at the net 23 times in those six games, it's certainly not surprising that he is scoring with such ease. With 61 points on the season, he will almost assuredly top the 62 he put up last season and make this his most productive season since the 2010-11 season.

Carter scored his fifth goal in four games in Saturday's loss to the Stars.

EDGE Analysis

Carter brings it in bunches and this is no different. He now has 23 goals and still has an outside chance at 25 this season. Carter's days as a 30-plus goal man are long gone, but he remains a productive fantasy producer. However, he is 31 and age will erode his effectiveness over the next couple seasons. But playoff poolies should look at his work in 2013-14 (25 points in 26 games) and get him in the fold.

Carter racked up two goals and an assist for the second time in three games Thursday against Calgary, adding a plus-2 rating.

EDGE Analysis

He factored into all three Los Angeles goals in the shutout win, including striking net twice (the first on a power play) less than six minutes apart in the second period to get the evening's scoring started. Carter just put up a very similar line in Sunday's game against Edmonton (two goals, an assist and a plus-3), with an active but ultimately unrewarded performance against the Sharks in between. In fact, the veteran pivot has posted a trio of three-point games in his last seven, a stretch of productivity that's got Carter just two ticks away from his second straight (and fifth career) 60-point campaign.

Carter scored twice and had an assist in Saturday's win over Edmonton.

EDGE Analysis

It was a big night for Carter's line with Milan Lucic and Tyler Toffoli, as the trio combined for 10 points in the victory. Carter has now scored at least 20 goals in each of his first four full seasons with the Kings and is up to 55 points in 70 games on the year. With 16 shots on goal in his last three games, Carter is heating up, so make sure he's in your lineup.

Carter picked up a power-play helper in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Winnipeg.

EDGE Analysis

Carter stopped his three-game cold streak, registering assist No. 7 in March -- his highest total in a month this season. The 31-year-old has now tied last year's apple total (34), and remains four shy of tying his career-high 38. It's possible the center sets a new milestone, especially being in the giving mood as of late. Additionally, Carter does have 12 shots on goal in his last two outings, so expect him to also find twine sooner rather than later due to the aggressive mindset.

Carter handed out three assists Thursday, with the final one coming on Anze Kopitar's overtime winner against the Rangers.

EDGE Analysis

He's been rumbling along nicely of late, with eight points in his last six contests. Carter's been a consistent scorer this year, but not necessarily an explosive one -- this was just his second three-point effort of the year, with the last one actually a four-point night way back on Oct. 22. There's no reason not to expect him to be a scoresheet regular down the stretch as the Kings jockey for playoff positioning.

Carter scored in overtime to beat the Capitals on Wednesday, completing a fabulous effort that also featured an assist and a game-high six shots on goal.

EDGE Analysis

Carter's 20:48 of ice time also trailed only Anze Kopitar, as the former Flyer was all over the ice in this one. With three goals on 15 shots over his past two games, Carter is as hot as any player in the NHL at the moment. This early-March hot streak comes as a great relief to Carter owners considering he totaled just two goals in the whole month of February.

Carter notched a pair of goals in Monday's win over the Canucks.

EDGE Analysis

Carter was active around the net in this one, firing off a season-high nine shots on goal. The 31-year-old also recorded a plus-3 rating in the contest, bringing his season total to plus-13. He may not be having his best campaign, but he's still on pace for yet another 50-point season.

Carter tallied a goal on six shots, an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Oilers.

EDGE Analysis

After missing the scoresheet in his last two outings, Carter came back in a big way with a scoresheet filling game on Thursday. He still isn't having the flashiest season ever, but he has managed to record seven points in his last nine games. He's also been a shot machine this season, as he's racked up 170 of those bad boys in 55 games after tallying 218 in a full slate of 82 games last season. The 31-year-old is surely worth a look in some formats.

Carter was named the game's second star Tuesday after putting up a power-play goal on six shots as well as an even-strength assist in a 9-2 romp over Boston.

EDGE Analysis

He's not the sexiest name in fantasy circles anymore, but Carter's throwing down another solid season -- a five-game injury absence aside, he's actually operating at a slightly higher scoring pace than last year. The fifth 60-point campaign of his career may well be in the works.
