Weise is coming off a resurgent season in Montreal where he spent a career-high 14:21 on the ice over 56 appearances. In Philadelphia, he'll have an opportunity for similar playing time as he splits responsibilities at right wing with Wayne Simmonds and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare.
