Versteeg (hand) was placed on long-term injured reserve Sunday, ESPN Chicago reports. Versteeg has been out with the fractured hand since Jan. 1 and doesn't appear to be close to a return just yet. Forward Dennis Rasmussen was recalled from AHL Rockford in a corresponding move.
