Bobby Ryan (hand) is back at full strength, which ultimately left Varone in limbo and not needed. The 26-year-old appeared in just one game after getting called up Dec. 6, notching no points and recording a minus-1 rating. If the Sens decide to bring him back up, it would be wise to ignore the center altogether.
