There have been no trade discussions between the Flyers and Predators since Shea Weber signed the 14-year, $110 million offer sheet last Wednesday. Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer received confirmation from "two sources with knowledge of the situation." Earlier reports hinted that Nashville would work out a deal with Philadelphia in return for not matching. This could now mean that the Predators have intentions of matching the offer or general manager David Poile hopes Flyers GM Paul Holmgren calls him with a can't-refuse proposal.
