The Anaheim Ducks are having trouble killing penalties in the early part of this shortened NHL season and forward Bobby Ryan is thinking the obvious.

The Ducks have allowed seven power-play goals in just 16 chances over their first three games, including three in their 5-0 loss to the visiting Vancouver Canucks on Friday night. After the game, Ryan said: "We got to find a way to stay out of the box and not let our emotions get the best of us. Some of the penalties were emotional penalties."
