Prior to his absence, the Pittsburgh native registered one goal on six shots, one assist and three blocks in three games while averaging 16:31 of ice time. The 29-year-old Saad failed to reach the 30-point mark last year for the first time since his rookie campaign back in 2012-13 with the Blackhawks but should be capable of getting back over that threshold this season.
