Sheldon Souray is excited to be playing hockey near his family in Southern California and he feels it will give him a lift when he gets to make his Ducks debut.
"I feel like I have a lot left in the tank," said the 36-year-old veteran. "I've always played my best hockey when I've been around my family. To be able to combine those two things ... I really and truly feel that I have my best years ahead." Souray has battled injuries the past three years, so getting some extra time off because of the lockout could help him in the long run. He can play with an edge and he's expected to log some power-play time in Anaheim as well, so he could make for a solid later-round addition to your fantasy lineups.
