Jenner skated at center on a line with Patrik Laine and Jakub Voracek during Monday's preseason win over the Sabres, Brian Hedger of The Columbus Dispatch reports. "I like them," Blue Jackets coach Brad Larsen said after the game. "I liked their line tonight. They brought energy."
EDGE Analysis
The trio was impressive together, piling up three goals -- one by each of them -- and six points in the victory, including power-play tallies by Jenner and Voracek. It was only the preseason, and it was only the Sabres, but the fact that Jenner is getting a look alongside players with the offensive talent of Laine and Voracek puts him on the fantasy radar, at least in deeper formats. Jenner was stuck in a versatile grinder role under former coach John Tortorella and hasn't topped 18 goals or 38 points in a season since 2015-16, but perhaps Larsen can get something more out of the 28-year-old.
