Pouliot (foot) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Pouliot suffered a broken foot in Friday's contest, so the move isn't overly surprising considering the nature of the injury and his projected absence. Look for Matt Hendricks or Jesse Joensuu to see extra work on the fourth line while the winger is on the shelf.
